Nicholas Allen Pittman, beloved son of Emma Handy and the late Lester Pittman, Sr., departed from us on Monday, January 24, 2022.
He was born on April 1, 1984 at Peninsula Regional Hospital in Salisbury, Maryland. Nicholas was a very serious child and as he grew older, he worked with his father and brothers.
Educated and graduating from the Worcester County public school system, Nicholas started his employment as a cook at Ocean Downs Racetrack and Casino in Berlin, Maryland. Later he worked at Pit & Pub in Ocean City, Maryland where he worked until his passing. Nicholas was well-loved and respected by co-workers and customers alike. His laugh and smile were both contagious.
His memory is left to be cherished by: his mother, Emma Handy; his two brothers, Kenneth and Jamieson Pittman; his sisters, Stephanie Pittman and Patricia Fletcher; a host of aunts and two uncles; one brother-in-law, Marvin Fletcher and many nieces and nephews.
Nicholas was preceded in death by his father Lester Pittman, Sr. and one brother, Lester Pittman, Jr.
We loved him dearly and he will be sorely missed by all.

THE COMPASSIONATE FRIENDS
We are so very sorry for the loss of your child. The Compassionate Friends is a nonprofit, self-help support organization offering friendship and understanding to bereaved parents, siblings, and grandparents. There are no religious affiliations, membership dues, or fees. We meet together to learn to cope with the struggles of living life without our precious children. Please feel free to join us on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Branford Lounge at Epworth Methodist Church on Holland Glade Road, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
