BALLSTON SPA - Nicholas J. "Nick" Robilotto, 81, formerly of Tribes Hill, N.Y., passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at his home in Ballston Spa, surrounded by his loving wife and family.
Born in Amsterdam on April 19, 1942, he was a son of the late Nicholas M. and Veronica Marozas Robilotto. He was raised in Amsterdam and was a 1961 graduate of the former Wilbur H. Lynch High School.
Nick was employed by UPS and was a member of the Teamsters Local #294, serving as the shop steward. He was a communicant of Historic St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Amsterdam. He also served in the U.S. Army and Army National Guard. Nick enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his grandchildren and family. He married Eleanor Quinn Robilotto on April 29, 1962.
Nick leaves behind his loving wife, Eleanor Robilotto of Ballston Spa; his beloved children, Christine (Daniel) Juarez of Ballston Lake, and Nicholas J. Robilotto Jr. of Greer, S.C.; his cherished grandchildren, Jonathan Danise, Justin Danise, Jennifer (Raul) Peralta, Gabby Juarez, Nicholas Robilotto III, and Isabella Robilotto; his dear sister, Sally Finocchi; and his brothers, Michael and Ricky Robilotto. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 17, at 11 a.m. in Historic St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, East Main Street, Amsterdam, with Father Martin Kordel CRL as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Amsterdam. The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday July 16, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam.
