Nicholas Deonta Rogers

Nicholas Deonta Rogers, 33, died on April 22, 2025, in Wichita. He was born October 7, 1991, in Waukegan, Illinois. He was later adopted by Arlen and Susan Goering.
Deonta worked for Lampton Welding in Hutchinson.
He had a passion for his music that he shared with Keyboy. Deonta's music journey changed when he became a father to his three precious children to whom he was very devoted to.
Deonta had an infectious smile and quick sense of humor. He had a big heart. His compassion and empathy for others extended to many. He was a loyal friend and hard worker. He was a joy to be around.
He is survived by his: mother, Susan Goering (Arlen); children, Jamarion Rhodeman, Marking Rogers and Kahniyah Rogers; siblings, Ashley Rogers, Emily Rogers, Henry Rogers, Sara Andrea Gilbert, Asia Reedy, Wendy Martinez, Derrick Wright, Anastasia Rogers, April Taylor, Joseph Boyle, Erick Wyler and Debi Canady; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Deonta was preceded in death by: maternal grandparents, MaryAnn and Willis Goering; and brothers, Matthew Rogers, Joshua York, and Jose Reedy.
There will be a private family inurnment with a public Celebration of Life at a later date.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 8, 2025, from 5-9 pm at the Rice Park Community Building, 44 Swarens St., Hutchinson, Ks, 67502.
