Of Colgate. Born to Eternal Life December 21, 2023, age 51 years. Beloved husband of Julie Shannon. Loving step-father of Bailey (Eric) Lozano and Zachary (Mary) Roskopf. Dearest "Papa Nick" of Leigh Elenore. Devoted son of Lonnie and Linda Shannon. Supportive brother of Michael (Kathy) Shannon. Adoring uncle and Godfather of Matthew Shannon. Further survived by many other relatives and friends who are considered family. Faithful dad to Dakota and Jaxs.
Nick enjoyed faith, family, friends and a love for fishing.
Visitation Wednesday, January 3, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Schramka Funeral Home, W164 N9034 Water St., Menomonee Falls, followed by a Funeral Service of 7:00 PM. Burial will be Thursday, January 4, 11:00 AM at Union Cemetery in Menomonee Falls. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.

I met Nick when I started working at Enerpac in the mid 2000s at the Columbus, WI facility. Our friendship grew as we traveled frequently together in those early days visiting suppliers domestically and in Europe. Family and friendships were very important to Nick - he always had stories to share about them. Nick clearly enjoyed the Wisconsin sports teams as well...Packers, Brewers, and Bucks. He often would speak about the last game that they played or looking forward to the next one! When Nick transitioned to working from the Menomonee Falls facility, we didn´t see each other as much, but our friendship continued to be strong. Most recently, conversations shifted to his new wife and family members. I was happy for Nick and always looked forward to talking with him. Nick was a good friend and will be deeply missed. My deepest sympathies to Nick´s entire family. I left Enerpac in 2017 so I had no idea that he was ill.
Although Nick and I had many work related discussions I always thought of him when I drive by Waste Managements facilities in Germantown. Being a native....he knew the history of the dump/landfill and I use to be amazed by the chicken bones and rotted food the "birds" would drop in the Enerpac parking lot.
I hope, in time, you will be able to remember all the good, fun times and memories of Nick....and smile.

Nick was always a positive person in our work and personal conversations. Nick and I had many chats ranging from his interest in cars and our other common bond, Enerpac. He helped me through many situations, and he will be forever in my thoughts. My condolences to his family. Alan Weller
