Nicholas J. Thompson

Nicholas J. Thompson, 45, of Torrance, CA, formerly of Williamstown, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.

Nicholas was a deeply caring and loving man. He was a big guy with a big heart, very handsome and smart, and he loved a good time. He loved to fish and play guitar. He loved and was loved by his family. He was always ready to help share his many talents and on call when they needed him.

Nick took great pride and was admired for his carpentry skills. Most recently building innovated, custom decks, overlooking majestic views of California's beauty, skyline and seascapes. He built deep bonds with his friends from a young age and they loved him.

Nicholas and his father had an especially close bond from birth when he helped deliver Nick into this world. Even though Nick lived in California the past 10 years they both texted and called each other almost daily. They worried about each other's health and well-being, their love was very special.

While living in California for the past 10 years, he was always there for his mother, helping her and caring for her and always there for his brothers as they re-established their friendship and family bond.

He was working on carving out a new career and future for himself and was well on his way. We are so proud of him and all his accomplishments. He will be missed forever.

Beloved son of John (Mary) Thompson and Charlene Masuda. Dear brother of Timothy Thompson, Gregory Thompson, Ronald Thompson, the late John Thompson Jr. and the late Donald Bacon. Dear stepbrother of Jared (Lori) Doebritsch and Sheri Doebritsch Tate (Bob) Valenti. Loving uncle of his nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday, December 2nd from 10:30 – 11:30 AM at the Bell-Hennessy Funeral Home, 420 S. Main St., Williamstown. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12:00 PM at Our Lady of Peace Parish / St. Mary's R.C. Church, Main St. & Carroll Ave., Williamstown. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Williamstown.
