Nicholas G. Wright, 40 of Coventry passed away suddenly on October 31, 2023 at the Kent Hospital in Warwick. He was the beloved husband of Krystina L. (DiOrio) Wright.
He was born in Warwick on May 31, 1983, a son of James T. Wright, Sr. of Coventry and the late Edith E. (McGowan) Wright.
Nicholas was a foreman at Riken Pools of West Warwick for over 22 years. He was a wonderful,caring and loving family man and had so many adventures with them especially in New Hampshire. He always enjoyed cooking for them and was well known for his smoked meats. He had a great passion for his fish and for his job.
Besides his wife and father, he leave his daughter, Allyson C. DiOrio-Wright of Coventry, his son, Logan Wright of Coventry; two sisters, Jacky Perillo and husband Scott of West Warwick and Toni Wright of West Warwick; a brother, James Wright, Jr. and wife, Amber of Connecticut and many beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A funeral prayer service will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023 at 10 am in the Potvin-Quinn Funeral Home, 45 Curson Street, West Warwick. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 5, 2023 from 4-7 pm in the funeral home chapel.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to either the Paine House Museum or to the Western R.I. Civic Historical Society, P.O. Box 2, Coventry, R.I. 02816.
Family and friends are cordially invited to use the online "Tribute Wall" to offer messages sympathy and condolence along with sharing memories and stories in celebration of Nicholas' life.
