Nick I Bombei Obituary
KEOTA-Nicholas Bombei, age 62, of Keota, passed away Monday, March 27, 2023, at his home.
Nick was born December 27, 1960, in Washington, Iowa, to Herbert and Loretta (Heisdorffer) Bombei and graduated from Keota High School in 1979. He then worked as a welder for Ray-Man in Keota for several years. Nick enjoyed fishing, hunting, mushrooming and hanging out with friends at the Roost.
Survivors include six siblings: Joyce (Rich) Northup of Tipton, Lorraine (Kirk) Albert of Sigourney, Steven (Laura) Bombei of Keota, David (Kay) Bombei of Wellman, Kathy (Kenny) Sieren of Keota and Eric (Belinda) Bombei of Solon; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Private burial will be held at Holy Trinity Cemeteries - Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery in rural Harper, with Deacon Jim Striegel officiating.
