Warren - We are deeply saddened to announce the peaceful passings of both Nick J. Ceglia Jr. on January 13, 2025, at the age of 92, and his wife, Mary Ann Ceglia on January 14, 2025, at the age of 93. As a family, we witnessed them doing everything together, so it only seems fitting they passed together, and are reunited in heaven.
Nick was born on October 29, 1932, in Warren, to his parents Nickola Ceglia Sr. and Dorothy Cornicelli. Growing up with his now deceased siblings Frank and Christine Scattino, Josephine Sember (Ceglia), and George Ceglia, Nick was known for his hard-working nature, kindness and sense of humor.
Mary Ann was born on May 4, 1931, in Weirton, West Virginia to her parents Theodore Mann and Mary Tatar. Growing up with her siblings Virginia Graham (Mann), Raymond Mann, Nick Mann and survived by her younger brother, Tom Mann, Mary was known for her baking, kindness, and compassionate nature.
Both attendees of Warren G. Harding High School, they were married on June 6, 1953, and shared many precious memories and moments. Both were long-time members of St. Pius X and St. Mary's parishes.
Nick's life was dedicated to providing for his family, and worked previously at Mullins Manufacturing, and retired after thirty years at the Warren Water Filtration plant.
Mary Ann's life was dedicated to her family, and she divided her time between being a devoted homemaker, working at Packard Electric, serving as a realtor, and working at St. Joseph's Hospital.
They loved their three children and their spouses, Nickola (Nancy) Ceglia III, Theodore (Carol) Ceglia, and the late Victoria (William) Pietila. They adored their grandchildren, David Ceglia, Christopher Ceglia, Catherine Ceglia Sheeler, John Paul Pietila, and Melissa Jandal, and made sure to create everlasting memories with each of them. They are survived by many nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren.
They enjoyed watching old movies, doing puzzles together, and were big Cleveland Browns and Dallas Cowboys fans. Their pleasant demeanors, warm smiles and giving spirits touched the hearts of everyone they met.
Their legacy of love, kindness and hard work will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew them. They will be dearly missed and forever remembered for their unwavering love, faith, giving nature and dedication to family and friends.
May they rest in peace, knowing they were cherished and loved beyond measure.
