Evelyn Joyce "Bunny" Lewis, born on September 21, 1936, in Limestone County, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2025. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and cherished friend whose presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.

Bunny was united in marriage to the late William Fielding Lewis on May 5, 1956, in Dallas County. Together, they built a life filled with love and dedication until his passing on January 27, 2002. Bunny worked along side Bill at the store they owned; Jefferson Food Mart, where she was well-known for her kindness and where she gained her nickname of Bunny.

She loved Elvis, jewelry, country music and going to dances and events with her friends. Her dedication to family and friends was evident in every aspect of her life, and she was a beloved member of the Open Door Baptist Church.

Evelyn leaves behind her loving children, son Trenten Lewis, son Keith Lewis and daughter Sheree Elliott. Five grandchildren- Logan and Carson Ryder, Shelby Elliott, Savannah Pigrenet and Marcus Malone. Nine great-grandchildren - Xander, Zane and Zayd Ryder, Amelia Smith, Myla Ann and Miles Ryder, Sutton and Miller Pigrenet and Mercer Malone. She is also survived by her dear brother, Bobby Stafford. Each of them carry forward her legacy of compassion and strength.

Visitation and funeral services will be held at Guerrero-Dean Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Prairie Hill Cemetery near Mart, Texas. The family invites friends and loved ones to join them in honoring Bunny's memory and celebrating her life.Evelyn Joyce "Bunny" Lewis will be remembered not only for her unwavering love and support but also for the joy she brought to the lives of those around her. May she rest in peace.Evelyn was preceded in death by: parents, Royce Stafford and Maple Gordon Stafford, Ruth Geddie and Pratt Stafford.
