Nicky Eileen Hunt, age 62, of Adams, Wisconsin passed away Sunday, August 18, 2024 at Fair View Nursing Home in Mauston, Wisconsin following a short illness.
Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 28, 20204 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Friendship, Wisconsin. Father David Bruener will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10 a.m until the time of service at the church.
Nicky was born September 15, 1961 in Reedsburg, Wisconsin to Richard and Winifred Taylor. She attended Wisconsin Dells High School and later worked as a CNA in Wisconsin Dells and at Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship, Wisconsin. She married John O. Hunt on October 24, 1986 in Friendship, Wisconsin. Nicky then worked as a child care provider for the last 30 years.
Nicky enjoyed needlepoint, solving puzzles, and taking care of children.
Nicky was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
Nicky was preceded in death by her parents: Richard and Winifred Taylor; a brother, Richard Jr.; and niece, Krista Short.
Survivors:
Husband: John Hunt of Adams, WI
Sister: Winifred "Bunny" Taylor of Wisconsin Rapids, WI
Sister: Nora (Michael) Short of Oregon
Sister-in-law: Mary (Kent) Prue of Shawano, WI
Brother-in-law: Kalvin (Sandra) Hunt of Friendship, WI
Brother-law: James Hunt of Adams, WI
Further survived by many aunts and uncles, other family members, friends, and her special pet, "Bruno".
