Nicolas C. Perez, aged 89, passed away peacefully at his home in North Prairie on October 5, 2024. He was born in Aransas Pass Texas on September 10, 1935, to parents Aurelio and Juana(nee: Contreras) Perez. On December 1, 1956, he married the former Santiaga Hiracheta at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Taft, Texas. She preceded him in death April 9, 1998. He spent his career at International Harvester in Waukesha retiring in 1991 and was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Survived by his sons Nicolas (Shirley) Perez of North Prairie and Fr. Aurelio Perez of North Prairie, grandchildren Shannon (Michael Young) Perez, and Aaron (Starline Kitalong) Perez, great-granddaughter Journee Young, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Santiaga, all of his brothers and sisters and his grandson Nicolas Jacob “Jake” Perez.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024, from 10:00 AM until the funeral Mass begins at 12:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church 822 N. East Avenue Waukesha, WI 53186. Fr. Aurelio Perez will preside. Burial and graveside services will follow the funeral procession to St. Joseph Cemetery in Waukesha.
