Nicolas Cabrera Perez, 88, of Bangor, passed away peacefully Wednesday December 17, 2025, at Ely Manor in Allegan.
He was born September 10, 1937, in Matamoros, Mexico, the son of Maximo Cabrera and Antonia Perez.
Nico liked to go fishing, listen to his favorite songs and hang out with his friends. He was always up for a good time!
He is survived by his sisters, Isabel (Ralph) Reyna and Juanita Hernandez; children, Nicolas Jr, Cynthia, and Melissa, step-son, John (Jayme) Carrillo along with their five children and nine grandchildren, nieces, Petra Reyna and Norma Reyna and nephew, Alberto Reyna.
Nico was preceded in passing by his parents.
Cremation will take place. There will be no public services at this time.
