Nicole D. Brown passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025, at the age of 91.
Born on April 4, 1934, in Montmorency, France, Nicole was the daughter of the late Andre Daloz and Suzanne Eugénie Tribu. She proudly became an American citizen in 1958, a milestone she deeply cherished. Nicole devoted many years to civil service to Robins Air Force Base before her retirement.
A gifted cook and baker, Nicole’s red velvet cake became a cherished tradition at family gatherings, and among friends. Her radiant smile was a constant source of comfort and joy to those who knew her. She was also creative and enjoyed sewing and creating beautiful stained-glass art. Even in her later years, Nicole was active and practicing yoga. A woman of deep faith, Nicole was a devoted member of Avondale Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Nicole was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Earl Brown; and granddaughter, Amy Nicole Todd.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Sophia Johns (Ben) of Dooling, Mike Lyles (Linda) of Fort Valley, Lisa Williams, and Jack Lyles, both of Warner Robins; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; as well as a host of beloved extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Avondale Baptist Church. Afterward, Nicole D. Brown will be laid to rest in Avondale Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Nicole D. Brown to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741, or to the American Macular Degeneration Foundation, P.O. Box 515, Northhampton, MA 01061-0515.
