Nicole A. Pruka

Nicole Alexandria Pruka, a brave 15 year old Rockford resident, died on Friday, March 18, 2022 in American Family Children's Hospital, Madison WI. Born May 24, 2006 in Rockford, daughter of Craig and Kelly Patterson Pruka. She was a sophomore at Christian Life High School. Nicole was very creative in music and the arts - self taught guitar, piano, ukulele, advanced drawing, knitting, multiple languages, and too many other things to mention. She loved spending time with family and friends, singing, dancing, swimming, baking and working on kitchen experiments with her dad. She also loved spending hours creating elaborate anime characters in Minecraft. She was a very determined young lady who personified the meaning of kindness and always saw the best in others.
She is lovingly survived by her parents, Craig and Kelly; sister, Rikki (Andy) Eclov; brother, Matthew (Megan) Born; nieces, Maely, Lella and Indigo Born; uncles, Darrin (Joy) Pruka, Brian Pruka, Don (Bridgette) Patterson, Tom (Chrissy) Patterson, Michael Johns and Aaron (Kathy) Johns; aunt, Johnette (John) Sexton; maternal grandmothers Patricia Born and Alma Patterson; paternal grandfather, Ralph Pruka, her special furry friends, Cujo and Mowgli, numerous cousins and friends. Predeceased by her paternal grandmother, Dorothy Pruka; maternal grandfathers, John Patterson and Douglas Born; uncle, John Patterson Jr, and her furry friends, Shadow and Xena.
