Nikolas Sanchez

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of (Nik) Nikolas Sanchez on the morning of 03/28/2025 at the young age of 30. He was surrounded by his loving parents and God's guardian angels at the time of passing to heaven.
Nikolas was the loving father of Jesse Sanchez, 10. Nikolas was born to his parents Brian Andrew Sanchez and Monica Wilkins in Thornton Colorado on August 01,1994. Nikolas grew up in Thornton Colorado and joined a football legacy as a young boy with his father playing football for the T.J.F.L VIKINGS where he was coached by the late legendary coaches Wayne Johnson, Gail Stone, Gary Hastings and current coach Bob Feighner and his father Brian Sanchez. Nikolas grew up with his beloved cats Bree and Sassy and graduated in 2013 from Thornton High School.
Nikolas was a true lover of the outdoors and nature, mechanics, and anything techy. He spent his weekends camping and fishing, hiking and riding his dirt bikes at his happy place, Meadow Creek reservoir in Grand County Colorado where he was taken as a young child with his father. Nikolas was known by family, friends, and coworkers as a kind, gentle, soft spoken family man with an unforgettable smile. Nikolas loved cooking at home, watching movies, working on his dirt bikes, playing games and preparing snacks for him and Jesse.
Nikolas will be dearly missed and is survived by his son Jesse Sanchez, 10, grandfather Alfredo Sanchez, 83 of Alamosa Colorado, Father Brian Sanchez, Mother Monica Wilkins, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as his girlfriend Alicia Rodriguez.
He is preceded in death by his Grandparents Saul and Violet Wilkins, and his grandmother Leola Sanchez.
We will have a Catholic rosary and church service and celebration of Nik's life at St Theresa Catholic Church 5503 Bella Rosa Pkwy Frederick, CO 80504 at 10:30 a.m. and mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. on April 25, 2025. Burial service will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery 520 Colliers Blvd Erie, CO 80516.
Nik will be forever cherished and loved by his son, Jesse, and his father, Brian. It should also be known that his beloved mother, Monica, to whom provided him a lifetime of loving service as a mother, would do anything for Nik in life and in death.
