Nina Mullican

A memorial service for Nina Jean Hanson Mullican, 89, of Tyler will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 11 a.m. at the Flint Baptist Church in Flint with Pastor Sam Deville officiating. Visitation is scheduled at 10 a.m. prior to the service.
Nina passed away Thursday, June 5, 2025, in Tyler.
She was born June 30, 1935 in Tyler to William (Bill) Hanson and Rachel Elizabeth Brown Hanson. She married the love of her life, Junior Mullican on November 19, 1955.
Nina was a child of God. She was a member of Flint Baptist Church, where she loved to have worship and fellowship. She graduated from Chapel Hill High School and had decades long career in the Medical Field, working for ETMC, Dr. Joe Bill Belue and Tyler OB-GYN. Nina retired from Trinity Mother Francis in 2021.
Nina took pride in her family and home, and devoted herself tirelessly to ensuring that everyone's needs and wants were met. She was so kind hearted and loving and everyone that knew her, loved her. Nina's most cherished thing in life was her grandson, Cameron. He was her pride and joy and she always made sure he was well taken care of first and foremost.
She is survived by her daughter, Mollie Jacenda Jones and husband Billy of Tyler; her grandson Rodney Cameron Rogers and wife Haley of Whitehouse and her great-grand daughters, Kynlee Elizabeth Rogers and Adalynn Grace Rogers. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents; and brother Marvin Kinard.
Only those who remain that love her so much were not ready for her to leave. Their consolation is knowing where she has gone and she is with Junior again.
