Nina Jean Nicholson of Denver, Colorado went to be with our Lord and Savior on September 4, 2025, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Nina was born on July 25, 1953 to Walter Lee and Wynoma Jean Harris (born Niblett). They preceded her in death along with her beloved brother Gary Lee Harris. She was born in Oklahoma but lived many years in Texas, California and Colorado. She lived a very full life for the time that we were blessed to have her. She overcame many obstacles and lived by "the golden rule". She had many talents, many friends, many adventures to share, and a family that cherished her dearly. She loved our Lord Jesus and shared His love with her kindness and understanding. She brought joy to numerous lives and will truly be missed. She is survived by her two daughters Danielle L. Duro (Sean) of Reunion, Colorado and Angela J. Moore of Denver, Colorado. Her brother Odes R. Harris of Fresno, California. Her grandchildren Christopher M. Duro (Danielle), Alexandria N. Cordova (Filimon), and Angelo B. Fernandez Jr. all of Colorado, Her great grandchildren Zeon Cordova and Alyzia Cordova. Also, her niece Tracy L. Smith (Steve), and her great niece Rachel Smith of Colorado who were gracious in helping Angela care for her in her last days. Along with many other nieces & nephews and family and friends. She will never be forgotten. Her love lives in the ones she left behind. They await the day of seeing her again in the Kingdom of Heaven.
