Noah W. Duncan, 24, of Leesburg, died Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
His funeral service will be, 2:00 PM, Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at Sherwood Baptist Church with interment to follow in Akridge Cemetery in Mitchell County. Rev. Alan Gotthardt will officiate.
Born in Atlanta, Noah spent all of his life in the Albany/Leesburg area. After three planned heart surgeries in infancy, he received a heart transplant in 2015. Noah was a devoted Dr. Who, Godzilla, and Marvel fanatic and aspired to be a movie director. He was actively writing his stories and published his first book in 2023.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, William Arthur Dize, Jr. and Rev. Hugh Duncan.
He is survived by his parents, Chris and Rebecca Duncan, siblings, Brennan, Madison, Bailey, Jonas, Grace, Max, Samuel and Violet. He is also survived by his grandmothers, Dolly Bartley (Jeff), Bonnie Duncan, nieces and nephew, Zephyr, Artemis, Attikus and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends, 1:00 to 2:00 PM, Tuesday, May 28, 2024 in the Atrium at Sherwood Baptist Church.
