Noah P. Hano Jr.

Noah, age 81, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was a resident of Springfield, LA. Noah proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the AMVETS, American Legion, and was an Auxiliary Deputy Officer for Livingston Parish and the town of Springfield. Noah was also a longstanding member of the Baptist church and served as a Deacon for many years. He enjoyed being outside and liked to hunt and fish. Noah's favorite thing to do was go for rides in a jeep, especially mud riding. He adored all of his grandbabies, but his great grandbabies were the apple of his eye. Noah was a loving husband, wonderful father, and the best Paw Paw you could ever have. He left his family with so many wonderful memories and will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Virginia Hano, whom he adored; daughters, Vickie Hano Hawkins, Nicole Hano Kiss (Brian); sons, Rocky Alan Hano, Daniel Cody Hano; sister, Daisy McCartney; brother, Elijah "Huck" Hano; grandchildren, Kayla Nicole Clausen (Tony), Gauge Alan Hano (Velina), Dustin Alan Hano (Heather), Blade Alan Hano (Megan), Madison Victoria Kiss; and great-grandchildren, Duncan Trace McElveen, Aria and Sage Hano, Preston Joseph Hano, and two on the way.
Noah is preceded in death by his parents, Daisy and Noah Hano Sr.; brothers, Larry Dean Hano and Eval Alexander Hano.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Richard Murphy Hospice House for their exceptional care of Mr. Noah.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home at 12012 Hwy 190 W. Hammond, LA 70403 on Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Pastor James McCartney will officiate with interment to follow in Springfield Cemetery.
