In Loving Memory Of
Noah Alexander Heberling
Much like the first inning of a great baseball game, Noah Alexander Heberling entered into his life on December 19, 2009 in Spokane, Washington. Born to Ron and Denise Heberling, Noah's life was full of excitement, anticipation and he was ready to play ball.
The innings that followed were full of laughter, silliness, self-determination and strength. Noah lived up to his namesake from the Bible in that he loved animals, and offered safety and comfort to all around him with a simple touch, a look or a gentle smile. He truly gave the best hugs and he always knew when a hug was needed.
Noah loved wearing his baseball uniform the most, but when he was little, he enjoyed dressing up in costumes. He would dress up and dance around. Half of his dance moves were ninja fighting moves. He had skills!
He was so fiercely motivated and full of passion that he taught himself how to play the guitar. He played for hours and hours on end. Sometimes he would sit in the grass and play until he was made to come inside.
Noah also was a great wrestler. He had started wrestling when he was only five years old, weighing only thirty-one pounds. He was small but mighty and he did not let his frame define him.
Noah and his dad both shared a love for baseball. They enjoyed all of the opportunities the sport gave them to spend time together. They especially looked forward to the long bus rides and talks about life and future plans.
If someone around him was feeling sad or having difficulty finding their joy, Noah was happy to help them find it. He would tell jokes or goof around until he made them smile. It made him happy to make other people happy.
He was strong willed. His parents said that "There was a right way of doing things, a wrong way of doing things and then there was Noah's way." No matter what he was doing, Noah brought his whole heart to everything that he did.
The most recent innings of Noah's life were full of family, music, sports, friends, and cherished times spent with his girlfriend, RayLynn. He also shared a particularly close bond with his little sister, Ruthie. They were more than siblings. They were teammates who were inseparable and loyal to one another through every stage of life.
Noah's final inning arrived far too soon on May 23, 2025. Although there will be many more games ahead, Noah now watches over the plays from above and will be remembered for his heart and his spirit. His legacy of love, laughter, strength, and kindness will live on in all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Noah is survived by his parents Ron and Denise Heberling, his beloved sister, Ruth Heberling, extended family and a wide circle of friends whose lives were brightened by his presence.
There will be a celebration of life on June 28th, 2025 at 1:00 at the Northport Schools. Food will be provided at the Northport Schools following the service and then there will be a time of fellowship after at the Mawdsley home.
