Noah Christopher Hill, age 24 of Hollansburg, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at his home unexpectedly.

He was born on January 9, 2001 in Greenville to the late Thomas Purvis and Sonya Hill.

In addition to his dad, Noah is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dorothy and Duane Hiatt; grandpa, Carl Hill; paternal grandparents, Ernest and Patricia Purvis; aunt, Robin Maloy; and uncle, Tony Akers.

Noah will be deeply missed by his parents, Scott and Sonya Hill; sister, Phoebe Hill; grandma, Lois Hill; aunts, Cheryl (Tom) Purdy, Teresa Via, Lorraine Akers; uncles, Curt (April) Hiatt, Ernie Purvis, Dennis Purvis, Daniel (Madonna) Purvis, and Tony Maloy; best friend, Cameron Armstrong; numerous cousins and friends; and his dog, Katie.

Noah graduated high school from Tri-Village in 2019. In high school Noah was very active in track, band, and golf, receiving a 3 year varsity letter. After high school he went onto college at Bowling Green State University, where he belonged to TKE fraternity. Noah also belonged to the Boy Scouts of America growing up. He worked at Diamond Kennels in Lewisburg, Ohio as a Pet Care Specialist. He enjoyed riding his segway, electric skateboard, watching The Office and Impractical Jokers, music, and playing the drums.

He loved nothing more than spending time with his friends and family. Phoebe held a special place in Noah's heart and he loved nothing more than being her protective big brother. Noah will always be remembered for his heart of gold. It did not matter who you were, Noah would lend a helping hand to any human or animal in need. His passion for life in general was such a rare and beautiful trait his family will hold close to them.

A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM on Monday, February 3, 2025 at Tribute Funeral Homes Greenville Campus.

A celebration on Noah's life will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at the funeral home with Pastor Scott McNett and Christian Penrod officiating. Interment will follow at Palestine Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Darke County Humane Society or the family for a college fund for Phoebe.
