Noboru Nakatani passed away peacefully on September 27, 2025 at the age of 90.
Noboru was born on October 21, 1934 to his parents Sadagusu and Jitsue Nakatani. He was a resident of Watsonville, California and married the love of his life, Kumiko Nakatani.
Noboru owned a local carnation nursery and served in the U.S. ARMY. He enjoyed going to casinos to play blackjack and spending time with his grandchildren. He was also an active member of Watsonville Buddhist Temple.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, George.
He is survived by his loving wife Kumiko Nakatani; and children Alice, Chester, and Douglas as well as 7 grandchildren.
Private funeral services have already been held.
