Mr. Nolan Jerald Chenoweth, affectionately known as Jerry to his family and friends, age 86, a resident of Slidell, Louisiana, and former resident of De Queen, Arkansas, passed from this life at his home in Slidell, Louisiana.
He was born to Charles M. and Leona Idell Turner Chenoweth in De Queen, Arkansas on October 27, 1938. Jerry married Kay Frances Dodds in Broken Bow, Oklahoma in 1959, and to this marriage, three children were born. He was retired owner of J & K Truck Line in De Queen and was a member of Ridge Memorial Baptist Church in Slidell, Louisiana. He enjoyed playing his guitar, hunting, fishing, sharing his faith in Jesus Christ, and his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife, Kay, a son, Gary Chenoweth, a grandchild, Cheyenne Chenoweth, a brother, Wayne Chenoweth, and a sister, Sharon Rightmire.
He leaves to cherish his memory, two daughters, Terri and Clay Williams of Slidell, Louisiana, and Teresa Blanchett of De Queen; nine grandchildren, Dustin, Samantha, Julia, Hunter, Hannah, Jacob, Isaiah, Joshua, and Brittnie; fifteen great-grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Rosemary and Don Tollett of Texarkana, nieces, nephews, other family members and a host of friends.
Graveside funeral Services for Mr. Jerry Chenoweth will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 14, 2025, in the Pullman Cemetery, De Queen, Arkansas, with Bro.
