Nolan Pack Obituary

Nolan was born January 7, 1948, in Lubbock, to parents Nolan Sr and Bertie Pack. He served in the U.S. Army from 1968-1970 and received an honorable discharge. Nolan married Kathy Jane Richerson on October 31, 1971. He was a self-employed professional welder by trade while also working in construction. With the help of some friends, Nolan built the Country Depot, which he and Kathy owned and operated from 1989-1995. Nolan and his family spent their life on the farm, just south of Abernathy, which he built from the ground up.
Nolan was truly the definition of a family man and his joy came from putting them first. When he wasn't helping take care of his family and friends, Nolan enjoyed spending time in the sunshine, strumming guitar, and playing in several bands throughout his life.
Nolan is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Kathy Pack.
Nolan is lovingly remembered by his children: Tisha Pack, Terra Pack, and Ben Prince. Known as 'Ba' to his grandchildren: Laini and husband Chris, Jade and fiancé Jayse, Sage, Kane, Brynlee, Avary, and Gannon. His great-grandchildren: Sophia, Laylaa, and Jackson.
We invite you to celebrate Nolan's life on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 1pm where graveside services will be held at the Abernathy cemetery, located at 1286-1298 Co Rd 325, Abernathy, Tx 79311. Please feel free to dress casually, as we remember the joyful moments he brought to our lives.

I'm sure this is the Nolan Pack I worked with at Plains coop back in the late 70's. I tried looking him up when I came back to Lubbock. He was a great guy to work with. I'm sad to hear I missed getting to catch up.
