To know Tammy Ashley Davidson - a beloved mother, daughter, wife, grandmother, sister, and friend - was to know the heart of Jesus. Her days on earth were marked by her unwavering faith in the Lord, her deep love for others, and her enduring strength. Tammy lived her life with boldness - she worshipped boldly, loved boldly, and lived boldly. Her legacy is most evident in the lives of the loved ones she leaves behind. Her children and grandchildren are beautiful reflections of her tenderness and tenacity, her peace and resilience, and her gift for uncovering joy in the ordinary. Tammy was born on March 8, 1963 in Lubbock, Texas where she lived a full life. She grew up alongside siblings Tony Silvas, Terry Silvas, Tanya Johnston, and Tonda Whitt, was fond of the summers she spent with her grandmother in Oklahoma, and was grateful for her late teen years spent with her paternal grandparents. Tammy dedicated her career to 34th Street Chiropractic where she was known as an incredibly hard-worker, a steady advocate for her patients, and a faithful employee assisting Robert Buchanan as he built a thriving business. While Tammy could often be found enjoying the outdoors, delighting in her garden, and soaking in the sun; her greatest treasure was her family. Tammy's most cherished role was as "mom" to Lance Ashley, Chris Ashley, Candace Courture, and Conner Davidson. She found so much joy in loving her grandchildren - Dawson and Caden Ashley and Chase and Madison Couture. She led her family with wisdom and grace, ensuring every event, holiday, and family gathering was centered on faith, orchestrating times of communion, moments of worship, and life-giving encouragement for her whole family.. Tammy held profound love for the community she found through Encounter Church. More than meeting her practical needs and tangible support, her church family became her intercessors in prayer, her pillar in hardship, and her steady reminder to fix her eyes on Jesus in the midst of suffering. Her absence leaves a massive hole in the lives of everyone who was lucky enough to know her. In addition to her siblings, children and grandchildren, Tammy leaves behind husband Jason Davidson, parents Johnny and Nina Silvas, and dear friends who will carry her legacy into each new day. May the faithfulness and memory of Tammy Ashley Davidson draw us deeper into God's heart, compel us to fix our gaze on Jesus, and embolden us to endure suffering with unshakable resolve. We invite you to join us in celebrating Tammy's life at a memorial service that will be held at Encounter (Bella Vie Venue, 13603 Slide Road, Lubbock, Texas) on September 11, 2025 at 4 o'clock in the afternoon.
