Nolan Ryan Thompson

Nolan Ryan Thompson, age 16, of Ashland City, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2024, at his home. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee, on October 28, 2007, to Terry Michael Krantz and Lora (Thompson) Krantz. Nolan was a happy little boy. He had a smile that lit up the world. He was a fighter through all of the adversities life threw his way. He will be greatly missed by family, friends, therapists, teachers, and 8C Vanderbilt Childrens Hospital nurses and doctors. He is preceded in death by his granddaddy, Billy Thompson; great grandparents, Arion and Jean Cole; great grandfather, Herbert Biggs; and great grandparents, Marvin and Patricia Mayfield. Nolan is survived by his parents, Terry Michael Krantz and Lora (Thompson) Krantz; grandparents, Denise (Cole) Thompson, Terry and Melinda Krantz; great grandparents, Bill and Betty Thompson, and Gayle Biggs; brother, Dean Krantz; sister, Kynlee Krantz; uncle, Ethan (Jessie) Thompson; cousins, Jaylinn and Eli Thompson; special nurse of 8 years, Sonya Colvin; and other extended family.
