Golden Valley - Nona Uilani Regan passed away on Sunday, May 25th. Her sons were at her side. Nona was born at the Naval Hospital on O'ahu, Hawaii on March 24, 1949. She grew up with a large Ohana (family). Mom - Carol 'Manoa' Regan and sister - Vivian, Auntie Nani and her children. Of Nani's children, Nona had a special bond with her cousin Regie. She moved to Northern California with her mother and father, Warren and added sister Leigh to the family and had son Mark and daughter Nicole. Nona moved to Seattle where she would meet husband Stan Lammle. They moved to Minnesota and had two sons - Eric and Randy. They lived in New Hope. Her most important career was being a loving mom. Nona had a large heart and no filter and would say all that was on her mind. She worked for General Electric, and then a long career with the Minneapolis Public Schools until her retirement. Virgil Oldre was a great boss and friend. Mom retired to Golden Valley and had neighbors that looked out for her. She enjoyed travel, grilling, Judge Judy, and especially spending time with her sons. There was always a special spot in her heart for grandkitties. Nona is preceded in death by Mother Carol Regan and Husband Stan Lammle. She is survived by Father Warren, Sisters Vivian Regan, Leigh Regan (Jim Porter), sons Mark Regan (Danielle), Eric and Randy Lammle, Daughter Nicole Kurze (Matt), Grandchildren of Mark and Nicole. A visitation will be held Saturday, May 31st, 10-12pm Washburn-McReavy Robbinsdale Chapel, 4239 W Broadway, Robbinsdale, 55422 (612)377-2203. Services begin at noon. A private burial follows at Gethsemane Cemetery in New Hope, 8151 42nd Avenue North. New Hope, MN 55428. A celebration of life will occur in July. Date TBD.
