As a fellow gardener and canner - when in my flower bed along the front of my yard on Trenton Lane, I enjoyed talking with you and seeing your dogs as you strolled by. I have fond memories of you sharing your pickled beans with me. It's sad to see the long time neighbors disappearing. We knew your folks and watched your brothers and sisters grow up. A lot of memories. You'll be missed.

Willy was a best friend and the best dog owner of 6 English Cocker Spaniels from me and Marissa over the years. He kept them in condition for us to finish their championships. He was so proud of his dogs. Mabelline is now with his nephew and Cletus is with me temporarily. Jethrow and Ella Mae recently crossed the rainbow bridge. Willy was a charter member of the Star of the North English Cocker Spaniel Fanciers club. He would do anything to help and was our ground support. He had a great sense of humor and a gift of gab. Willy will be greatly missed.

Willie can never be replaced. He was one-of-a-kind and the very best neighbor anyone could ask for. He was always there for us when we needed him. He and his pack helped raise Molly from the time she was just 6 weeks old. He came to my rescue too many times to count when I was snowed in, when the lawnmower broke, or to fetch mail and packages when we weren't home. It will take me years to get over this loss. I miss him terribly....

I always enjoyed seeing Willy wrangling his dogs down the street every time I saw that I always got the image of Roman chariots and their four horses racing around the Colosseum. IvanhoeWoods will never be the same without you, pal.
