Nora May McEnery of Newcastle, WA, left this world to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 15th, 2025. She was born on August 23rd, 1931, in Klamath Falls, Oregon. She graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in 1950 and attended Notre Dame University in California.

After college, she got her first job at the Pacific Telephone Company. Soon after, she met John McEnery, the man of her dreams, at an Irish dance in Oregon. They married, lived in San Francisco for a year, and then moved to San Jose, California. They had three daughters and later moved to Poulsbo, WA. Nora loved being a housewife and always put everyone's needs above her own. She enjoyed hosting large family dinners and cooking her famous dishes. She had a servant's heart, making sure everyone was well fed and taken care of.

Later, after her children were grown, Nora got a job at Martha and Mary Nursing Home in Poulsbo. She also volunteered her time at the Fishline Food Bank. Her Catholic Christian faith meant everything to her, and she was always praying for everyone. Nora loved being a grandma to her six grandchildren and her five great-grandchildren. They were her pride and joy. She loved spending time with them and treating them to candy, or taking them to a special place to eat.

Nora is preceded in death by her husband John McEnery, her daughter Katherine Lofall, and her grandson Johnny Lofall. Nora is survived by her daughters Peggy Gunderson and Anna McEnery, her sons-in-law Greg Gunderson and Donny Lofall, her grandchildren Michelle Lofall, Ashley Humphrey, Rachael Donanberg, Lena Donanberg, and Nathan Gunderson. Her great-grandchildren include Mylie Lofall, Ian Clark, Clover, Oliver, and Zoe Humphrey.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 10:30 am followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Burial services will be at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Klamath Falls, Oregon. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be given to Fishline Food Bank in Poulsbo, WA. https://fishlinehelps.org/
