Nora M. Sharp, age 74, of Lakeview, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at New Haven Assisted Living in Lakeview. The daughter of Raymond Alfred & Flora M. (Johnson) Sherman, she was born on March 27, 1951 in Lakeview.
A 1970 graduate of Lakeview High School, Nora had worked at the former Gibson Refrigerator Company until marrying and raising her family. She had attended New Life United Methodist Church, and enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, and more recently drawing and coloring.
She was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers and sisters; and her former husband, Amos Sharp.
Surviving are her children, Lora & Alfred Dexter of Lakeview, Dan & Keri Rowland of Six Lakes, and Randy & Amy Rowland of Lakeview; ten grandchildren, Kayla Dexter, Bradly Dexter, Austin & Elyse Bean, Chelsie & Albert Gesierich, Zeke & Nancy Bean, Arianna Rowland, Alicia & Ken Wert, Christian Rowland & Allison Kazmerski, Anthony Rowland, and Gabriella Rowland; three great-grandchildren, Grayson Dexter, Katie Bean, and Allee Bean; two sisters, Arlene Davis and Donna Toth; a brother, Terry Sherman; and many, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation with the family is from 12-1 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2025 at Christiansen's Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, 511 S. Franklin Street, Greenville, where memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Pastor Bob Jones of the Church of the Gentle Shepherd in Six Lakes will officiate and a luncheon will follow the ceremony at The Candlestone Inn in Belding.
Contributions in memory of Nora may be directed to the charity of the donors' choosing.
