Nora Jean Voris

Nora Voris 89 of Knightstown passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family,
Richard Voris, her husband and the love of her life, were married 71 years and had 4 children. She graduated from Chrysler High school New Castle, Indiana a year early in 1952 as a Junior. She obtained a master's degree in cosmetology and was a beautician in Knightstown.
She and her sisters opened a ceramic shop together and named the shop after their mother (Cillia's). She loved spending time in the shop and working on ceramics.
She is survived by her husband Richard Voris; 3 children, Victor (Donna) Voris, Patrick Voris, Angel Voris'; Daughter-in-law, Joni Voris; 6 Grandchildren, Emilye (Voris) Smith, Holly Whitham, Christopher II Voris, Matthew Voris, Jacob Voris, & Jeremiah Voris; 6 Great Grandchildren, Journie, Caleb, Brendon, Bently, Paisley, & Jacob; 1 Great Great-Granddaughter, Jemma; 5 Sisters, Marilyn Sirosky, Jo Goad, Kay Mills, Tracy Fox, & Kelly Millikan; many nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death by her parents, Bernie and Eucilla Gribbons; and Son, Christpoher Voris.
There will be a Graveside service only Friday, September 13th at 3:30pm, Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown, followed by a meal at the Carey Center.
