Archibald C. Voris IV ("Arch") of Bloomington, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 17, 2025. Arch was born on June 17, 1970. He is survived by his beloved wife, Angel Wang; his father, Ed Voris, and stepmother, Mary Ellen Voris; his brother, Jim Voris, and sister-in-law, Jan Voris. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith (Tindal) Moss, and his stepfather, Gary Moss.
Born and raised in Bedford, Indiana, Arch pursued his education at Butler University and Indiana University.
During his time at IU, he developed a deep passion for classical music-a love that remained with him throughout his life. He was always eager to share recommendations for recordings and performances of great musical works.
His career in the travel industry took him across the globe, with stops in Kansas City, Missouri, and Los Angeles, California, before leading him to Beijing, China, where he taught English. It was there that he met the love of his life, Angel Wang.
While the pandemic brought Arch back to Indiana-and later, Angel as well-their shared love of travel continued. Together, they explored Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand, Mexico, South Korea, and many cities across China.
Despite a lifelong battle with heart disease, Arch faced every challenge with unwavering determination and a remarkable sense of humor. His resilience, adventurous spirit, and kindness left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
A Memorial Service to Celebrate Arch's Life will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at 5:00PM at First Presbyterian Church 221 East 6th Street in Bloomington, Indiana. The family will receive friends and family from 4:00PM until the time of the service at 5:00PM also at the church.
