Alma Faye (Lunsford) Voris, 90-year-old Ramona resident, passed away on January 6, 2025, surrounded by family. She was born on March 8, 1934, in Talala to Austin Kilby and Lula Pearl (Jordan) Lunsford. Alma married the love of her life, Nolan Voris, and the two were married until his death in 2019.
Faye was a homemaker her entire life. She was passionate about the Lord Jesus Christ and faithfully attended church. She had a true servant’s heart and wanted to ensure that the focus was not on her; rather, it was on Jesus. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Faye is survived by her children, Roger Voris and wife, Janice, of Ramona, Jerry Voris and wife, Brenda, of Collinsville, and Vickie Lomax and husband, Gary, of Talala; six grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nolan; parents; brothers, Lee, and Bill; and sister, Betty.
The family will receive friends Sunday, January 12, 2025, from 3:00-5:00 P.M. at Benjamin Funeral Service. A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, January 13, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. in the Benjamin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Jerry Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Talala, Oklahoma.
