Beverly Gray Morgan

Beverly Gray Morgan, 89, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away surrounded by loved ones on September 23, 2025. Born and raised in Southport, IN. She also spent several winters in Sun City West, AZ.
Beverly was a dedicated third grade teacher at Douglas MacArthur for over 30 years. She earned her bachelor's degree from Indiana Central and master's degree from Butler University. In addition to teaching, she and her late husband, Allen, operated Lemonade Shake Up stands at the county and state fairs for many summers.
Beverly was a devoted member of Southport Presbyterian Church for over 50 years. She spent many years teaching Bible Study Fellowship, helping others in their walk with Christ. In recent years, she made her home at Greenwood Village South, where she continued to serve others by volunteering weekly at the library. She loved sending cards and notes, always staying in touch with the many people whose lives she had touched over the years.
She is survived by her children, Brent Morgan and Melanie Murray; siblings Marilyn (Ronnie) Mayfield, Gloria (John) Richardson, and David (Trish) Gray; sister-in-law Eva Fazekas, grandchildren Brooke Morgan, Sarah (Andrew) Fast, Caleb (Teresa) Murray, Kristine Morgan, Carly Morgan, Jacob (Devin) Murray, and Daniel (Judith) Murray; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Allen Martin Morgan, her parents Harold Gray and Dorothy (Key) Gray, and son-in-law Tom Murray.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Southport Presbyterian Church, 7525 McFarland Blvd, Indianapolis, IN, with the service to follow at 1:00 PM. The family will have a private burial.
