Noralba Pena, born on July 14, 1959, in Holguín, Cuba, to Jaime Pena and Alba Rosa Carballosa, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky.

Noralba was a loving wife, devoted mother, proud grandmother, and cherished sister. She was married to Rolando Martinez, with whom she shared a life rooted in love and faith. She is survived by her husband; her daughter, Karen Martinez; her son, Yunior Martinez; her beloved grandchildren, Kaylee Isabel Aguilera, Kayla Rose Aguilera, Claudia Martinez, and Rolando Martinez; her brother, Jaime Jesus Pena; her niece, Marie Karla Pena; and her nephew, Jaime Jose Pena.

A woman of great faith, Noralba trusted deeply in God and lived her life with kindness and compassion. She was known for her open and outgoing nature, greeting everyone with a warm smile that made people feel welcome and seen. She found joy in simple pleasures, especially watching television, and she truly loved being around others.

Noralba dedicated her working life to caring for people, serving as a caregiver at the Episcopal Nursing Home. Her work reflected her generous spirit and her natural gift for helping and comforting those around her.

The family has chosen cremation. Noralba will be remembered for her loving heart, her joyful presence, and the faith that guided her throughout her life. Her memory will live on in all who knew and loved her.
