Norbert Allen Kopp jr.

Norbert Allen Kopp, Jr., 87 of Louisville, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 29, 2025, at The Willows of Springhurst.
He was born on August 15, 1938, in Louisville, one of five children to the late Norbert Allen Kopp, Sr. and Alice Price Kopp. His beloved wife, Angela Tegethoff Kopp, dear sister Joann Hood and brother-in-law, Chuck Hood precede him in death.
Norbert spent his career in design and sales working with many of Louisville's well-known restaurants and was a member of the Army National Guard.
Norbert was a longtime member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church where he sung in the church choir, and served as a eucharistic minister. In addition, for many years he played an active role in the Boy Scouts of America. He was a former Scout Leader, Committeeman and served on the Catholic Committee, for which he was recognized with numerous service awards.
Norbert is survived by his children, Paul Kopp (Terri), Karen Blair and Kevin Kopp; Dennis Tegethoff, Jr. (Trish), Christina L. Riddle (David) and Joseph Tegethoff (Ursula); siblings, John Kopp (Mary Ann), Larry Kopp (Carol), and Carolyn Alford (Richard). In addition, he is also survived by his grandchildren, Zach Blair, Emma, Abigail and Reyanna Kopp; Joseph, Meridith, Hannah and Frank Tegethoff; Allie Woodrum, Austin Riddle and Josie and Jordan Tegethoff.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 7813 Shelbyville Road with burial at 1 p.m. at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Ratterman Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Road, St. Matthews.
