Norbert “Norbie” P. Kieffer II, the Oldest Son, the Oldest Brother, the Most Favorite Uncle, the Nephew, the Cousin, the Friend, 39, of Brewerton, NY left us on October 1, 2024 after a brief illness. Norbert was born in Syracuse, NY on November 29, 1984 to Norbert and Lynette Kieffer.
Today we reflect on him, his relationships to his family and how he lived his life. He was known for his kindness and generosity of his time to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Norbie lived his life to have FUN; from sun up to sun down. He was a man of many titles; Avid Sportsman, Beloved Family Member and Chief Instigator with his nieces and nephews. He showed his love for all through his actions. Whether that be renovating your house, fixing your truck or taking a last-minute trip, he always said yes. He might complain the whole time but he would still always be there, laughing and joking along with you.
Norbie lived on his own terms and knew when to stand his ground and artfully change his position to always be right.
Norbie loved working on his Lake house with his dad, Uncle Mike, brother Eric, brother-in-law Ryan and his friend Justin Sandy.
Norbie loved camping, hunting, fishing, boating, snowmobiling and road trips on his motorcycle. He was the go-to MacGyver type mechanic to keep all his toys running. He also was an expert machinist and welder. He was the epitome of “work-life balance” because he knew not to waste a minute.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
His dash is full. May God Bless you. Until we meet again, my sweet boy.
He was preceded in death by Two Grandfathers, Norbert A. Kieffer, Charles Boardman; Two Grandmothers, Gertrude Kieffer, Claire Conners; Uncle, Patrick Kieffer; Aunt, Leanne Boardman; and Cousin, Kristin Morse/DelValle.
He is survived by his Parents, Norbert and Lynette Kieffer; Brother, Eric Kieffer; Sister, Chelsea (Ryan) Marnell; Niece, Riley C. Kieffer; Two Nephews, Nolan J. Marnell, Bennett R. Marnell; Three Uncles, Stephen (Kristi) Kieffer, Michael (Jennifer) Kieffer, Bill (Patty) Boardman; Five Aunts, Betty Kieffer, Rhonda (Richard) Metz, Carol Bidwell, Kathy Boardman, Susan (Chris) Cramer; and many Cousins and Friends.
