Norborne Edmund “Chuck” Spottswood III, 59, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024, in his home in Moneta, Virginia. He was born August 23, 1963, in Mobile, Alabama. He is preceded in death by his father, Norborne Edmund Spottswood Sr.
He was a faithful employee to Liberty Fire Solutions where he carried out his long-time love for drafting and installing Fire and Water safety solutions. Chuck, as everyone knew him, was a hard worker. He enjoyed simple pleasures like watching his cooking shows and he enjoyed cooking; he even was a chef at one point in his life. He enjoyed old martial arts movies and taken up martial arts in his life as a passionate hobby of his. He also was a fan of Star Trek and Marvel/DC comics as well as the movies. Chuck will be remembered by friends and family for his incredible work ethic, comedic personality, and his ability to be a friend to just about anyone.
Chuck is survived by his daughter, Cheyenne Spottswood, and fiancé Kyle Linkous; and four grandchildren, Riley Weaver, Marley Weaver, Asher Linkous, and Archie Linkous; and numerous other family and friends.
A visitation will be held at Tharp Funeral Home in Bedford, Virginia on May 15, 2024 from 6 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers please consider donation to St. Jude’s Children’s hospital.
