He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Audrey Shafer; daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Steve Walker; grandchildren, Sam and Izzy Walker; older brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Phyllis Shafer; mother-in-law, Armina Wu; sisters-in-law, Laura Wu-Benyshek, Cynthia Wu-Greenberg; many nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held at a later date.

My condolences to Norm´s family - he was a great guy.
Norm was outgoing, kind and generous even as a young man. I have many fond memories of hanging out with Norm during our high school years and spending weekends with Norm and his family at their lake house. Coming of age in southwestern Michigan during the early 1960s provided us with many American graffiti experiences and Norm was an important part of those special times.
Again, my condolences to Norm´s family - he was a special guy.
