Norma Jean Marie Babin

Norma Jean Marie Babin, 80, a lifelong native and resident of Houma passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2018. She was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church and choir. She loved to sew and cook. Norma was a loving mother, grandmother, and was known as "Granny" to many. She was deeply loved and will be missed by her family and many friends. She is survived by her sons, Carey and wife Venetia Babin, Robert "T Bab" and wife Melissa Babin, brother, Michael and wife Debbie Robichaux, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Anthony Babin, son, Ricky Babin, parents, Eugene and Adele Panvelle Robichaux and brothers, Bobby Robichaux, Errol Robichaux, Sr., and David Robichaux and sister, Debby Verrett. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 23, 2018 at Falgout Funeral Home of Houma from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. and again on Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. until a 12:30 p.m. funeral procession to St. Bernadette Catholic Church for a 1:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be held at a later date in St. Louis Cemetery. Falgout Funeral Home of Houma entrusted with arrangements.
