Eileen O'shaughnessy Drouant

Eileen O’Shaughnessy Drouant, 76, resident of Metaire (Bucktown), LA, has passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026.

Mrs. Eileen is survived by her husband of 56 years, Lyle David Drouant, Sr.; their sons, Lyle Drouant, Jr. (Kim), Darren Drouant (Sarah), and Damien Drouant (Kristi); her grandchildren, Noah Drouant, Mildred Drouant, and Ryan Drouant; her step-grandchildren, Morgan Leblanc, Madison Adams, Jenson Adams, Blaine Wilson, Bailey Wilson, Victoria Armstrong, and Geoffrey Armstrong; her step-great-grandchildren, Estelle Armstrong and Brinley Slade; her sister, Sheila O. Yeadon (Steve); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, Michael P. O’Shaughnessy and Mildred Brondum Kenney O’Shaughnessy; her brothers, Terrence O’Shaughnessy, Mike O’Shaughnessy, and John Kenney; and her sister, Patricia O. Gantner.

Mrs. Eileen was a lifelong member of St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Family and friends are invited to attend a church service on Sunday, March 8, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, at St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church, located at 1520 Chickasaw Ave. Metairie, LA 70005, a celebration of life for Mrs. Eileen will follow at 11:45 AM, after the Sunday services.
