Norma Jean Bills, born on December 26, 1932, in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025, in Sligo, Pennsylvania, at the age of 92.
During her life, Norma Jean was known for her dedication and hard work. She spent many years working as a cook at Joe's Market in Levettown and The Pancake House. Beyond her professional endeavors, she was a devoted homemaker who took great pride in nurturing her family.
Norma Jean had a passion for painting, which brought her joy and fulfillment throughout her life. Her artistic spirit and warm presence will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and one sister. Her memory will be cherished by her loving family: her son Jeff Bills and his wife Jamie of Clarion; her four daughters, Kathleen F. Gall of Riegelsville, Pennsylvania, Betsy L. Sathra of Dublin, Pennsylvania, Susan J. Struble and her husband William of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and Janet E. Schmidt and her husband Gary of Orefield, Pennsylvania. Norma Jean was also blessed with fourteen grandchildren, who will carry forward her legacy of love and kindness.
The family will hold a service to celebrate Norma Jean's life at a later date. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home & Crematory, 330 Wood St, Clarion.
