Janiel was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Randy Ridd Moesser and Martha Beryl (Sheffield) Moesser on August 17th, 1942. She passed away quickly and quietly on October 23, 2025, she was 83 years old. She was preceded in death by her Husband Frank V Clark Jr. on April 29, 2025. She is also survived by Scott Clark (son), Janae Gomez (daughter), Mark Gomez (son in law), Jason Clark (son), Tanya Clark (daughter in law), Jeremy Clark (son), Cali Clark (daughter in law). 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren. Vallene Hughes (sister), Janice Mackey (sister in law), Kevin Moesser (brother), Cathy Moesser (sister in law) and many nieces and nephews.

Music and academics were very important in Janiel's life. She learned how to play the piano and accordion when she was very young. She ended up with three accordions as she grew and by the time she was a teenager she played in Larry Pino's Accordion Band and traveled around the country for competitions and concerts. She went to Cyprus High School in Magna, Utah. She played softball and was the pitcher for her team. Her dad was a Minor League Baseball Player and loved when any of the kids played. She was also a cheerleader for her class and enjoyed being involved in all the fun. Janiel was also an "A" student and worked hard to always do well. She spoke at her High School Graduation.

Janiel went to Brigham Young University and received a two year associates degree, she then went on to finish and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Education with Honors and received an Award for Outstanding Achievements. On August 31, 1962 she married Frank V Clark Jr while still going to school. Scott was born June 7, 1963 and Janae was born May 10, 1964 seven days before she graduated from BYU on May 17, 1964 and still made a 4.0 grade point average. She gave everything she had in everything she did.

Janiel taught at Superior High School in the Business Department starting with shorthand, accounting, business through to computers. As the business teacher she sponsored the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and went on trips for competitions to NAU, U of A, ASU, California and Florida and got to spend some time at Disney World with her group of High School Students.

Janiel and Frank served a "couples" mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and were in the Mexico City South Mission. Their responsibility was taking care of a home that was used for the missionaries to stay in between assignments. After serving they spent time traveling around more of Mexico, Guatemala, Peru, China and Jerusalem. They were married almost 63 years.

A Visitation will be held at 9am on Thursday November 6th, 2025 in the Relief Society Room at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints, on 618 S. Signal Butte, Mesa, AZ 85207.
