Obituary published on Legacy.com by Music Funeral Home - Waycross on Nov. 26, 2024.
Mrs. Norma Jean White Cribbs, 81, passed away Sunday night (November 24, 2024) at her residence in Guyton, GA.
She was born June 7, 1943 in Millwood, GA to the late Lloyd White, Sr. and Arvilla Bennett White. Norma was born and raised in Millwood, but she has lived in the Savannah area since 1968 as a loving and dedicated homemaker. She graduated from Manor High School in 1961, and she was a member of the Rincon Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Norma was a family oriented person who was dedicated to keeping the family together. She was constantly concerned about others, feeding them or giving them a place to stay. She helped raise many children in her neighborhood, and she will be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother or aunt to all.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Isham Darrell Cribbs; her brother, Richard Kimball White; and her sister-in-law, Dollie White.
Survivors include her children, Sheila Marie Futch (Marvin) of Jesup, GA, Bradley Ashton Cribbs (Kathy) of Guyton, GA, Dave Elias Cribbs (Kelly) of Clyo, GA, Sheana Aleese Richardson (Mark) of Guyton, GA, and Derek Kyle Cribbs of Guyton, GA; 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; siblings, Janell Griffin (James) of Jesup, GA, Lloyd White, Jr. of Millwood, GA, and Delbert O. White of Guyton, GA; and numerous nieces, nephews and beloved extended family.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday (November 27, 2024) at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Hargraves Chapel Cemetery in Manor, GA. The family will receive friends Wednesday beginning at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
