Norma Jean Forston, 83, of Lexington, KY, passed away Monday, March 17, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Joseph McLeod and the late Relda Jacobs McLeod. She retired from Rexroth Pneumatics where she was a shipping clerk. She enjoyed gardening and gathering with friends and family where her laughter could fill a room. She also had an immense love for all animals.
She is survived by her two daughters, Karen Ricci (Jack Mills), Lexington, KY, and Melissa Flynn (Eddie), Winchester, KY; and her sister, Ann Harp, SC. Also, three grandsons, Wesley Coomer (Elizabeth), Trey Cunniff (Sarah), and Allan Whitaker; along with five great grandsons, and two great granddaughters, and several nieces, and nephews. She also leaves behind her special companion cat, Charlie. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Robin Ricci Cunniff; her sister, Mary Gault; and her two Brothers, Joseph P. McLeod and Kenneth L. McLeod.
A funeral service to honor the life of Norma Jean Forston will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, 463 East Main Street, Lexington, Kentucky, 40507. Pastor Ronnie Hupp will officiate the service. A private interment will take place at a later date. Visitation for Norma Jean will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions in Norma Jean's memory should be made to The Lexington Humane Society. Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, 463 East Main Street, Lexington, Kentucky, 40507, is honored to be in care of arrangements for Norma Jean Forston.
