Norma J. Gerholdt

Norma J. Gerholdt (1934-2012) WATERLOO- Norma J. Gerholdt, 78, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at the Western Home Communities Elizabeth E. Martin Health Center, Cedar Falls. She was born May 24, 1934 in Waterloo, daughter of William and Phyllis Saunders Crow. She married Ronald Gerholdt on September 28, 1952 in Waterloo. Mrs. Gerholdt attended Waterloo East High School, graduating in 1952. She and her husband owned and operated Pine Room Tap in Evansdale, for 20 years. Survived by: her husband of Waterloo; two daughters, Linda (Bob) Skeers of Cedar Rapids and Cindy (Roger) Hahn of Cedar Falls; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Wayne (Colleen) Crow of Waterloo; and four sisters: Ella Mae (Dick) Timion of Waterloo, Margaret Bettis of Cedar Falls, Ruth (Jim) Carnes and Hazel (Jerry) Carnes, both of Waterloo. Preceded in death by: a brother, Bill Crow. Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Richardson Funeral Service in Cedar Falls with burial in Garden of Memories, Waterloo. Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and also for one hour prior to services Friday. Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.
