Norma Colleen Hendrickson

Norma Colleen Jones Hendricksen was born February 25,1936 in Provo Utah to Ralph and Mildred Jones. She had three brothers: Robert, David, Michael and a sister Barbara. She married Garland "Jay" Hendricksen in 1961. They enjoyed going out to dinner, dancing, watching movies and attending plays at Hale Theater. Her hobbies and interests included Relief Society activities and Kultura. She enjoyed gardening and took pride in making her yard the best looking in the neighborhood. She worked for Hotel Utah as an elevator girl for a while and later at OC Tanner. She sold Avon and had a brief modeling career in the 1950's. She was a kindhearted and caring full time mother and wife taking care of her family and home. She had a lot of friends and was greatly admired by all who knew her.
Colleen passed away peacefully on December 13th, 2024. She was proceeded in death by her husband Jay, her mother and father, brothers Bob and Mike. She is survived by her daughter Cherie (Rick) Rekoutis, son Kevin Hendricksen, sister Barbara Carter, brother David Jones, two grandchildren Jake (Lexi) Rekoutis and Amanda Bushman. Two great grandsons, Gatlin and Rustin as well as a host of friends and family. She will be greatly missed. We would like to thank Atlas Home Health and Hospice for their loving care.
Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 18th at 11:00am at Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East 4580 South.
