Norma Jean Jensen

Norma Jean (Gooch) Jensen, age 93, passed away March 31, 2024. She was born January 13, 1931 in Oakwood, OK to Gilbert and Cecile (Workey) Gooch. She married the love of her life, Howard, on May 26, 1961. She was a civil service employee with the U.S. Navy working at the Pacific Missile Test Center, retiring in 1978. Norma loved OU Football, the "occasional" trip to the casinos, gardening and keeping an exceptionally clean house. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard, two sons, Jerry and Ron, a grandson, Ronnie and four siblings, Steve, Gill, Earl and Donna Boatman. Norma is survived by her two sons, Larry Prebble and wife Diane and Ken Prebble, grandchildren, Tim Prebble, Tania Prebble, Kristen Christenson and husband Adam, Andrew Jensen and wife Amy, two great grandchildren, Jackson and Nicholas Prebble and one brother Charles Gooch. A Memorial Service will be held at 6pm, May 30, 2024 at McNeil's Funeral Service, Mustang, OK with interment at Ft. Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, Oklahoma.
