Norma L. Leibrock

Norma L. (White) Leibrock, 91, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2024, at Austinburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Norma was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, the daughter of Emery and Mary White.
As a teenager, her parents sent her to live with relatives in Jefferson, Ohio, to help following the birth of her cousin, Rose. Norma graduated from Jefferson High School in 1950.
In September of 1950, she married Clyde Leibrock, they shared sixty wonderful years of marriage together.
When their daughter entered grade school Norma went to work for Rhodes Jewelry; although she held other positions throughout the years, working at the jewelry store was not only her favorite place to work but also where she worked the longest. It was during this time that she started to be known as the "Fudge Lady" during the Christmas season; with Clyde stirring she made fudge for many years. She was also known for making catnip pillows during the holiday season,
Norma had a life-long love for animals, jewelry and wallpapering their home. With Clyde by her side, they enjoyed traveling, some of their favorite destinations were Nags Head, North Carolina and the southwest desert.
She is survived y her daughter, Sandy of Portland, OR and her youngest brother, Jim (Hellen) White of Omaha, NE.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clyde; her siblings, Cora Luella who died as a toddler and Emery Nealon White.
