Perkins Funeral Home - DrydenNorma Jean Liddington, age 71 of Brooktondale, NY passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday October 15, 2025 at Wilson Hospital in Johnson City, NY.
Jean was born November 6, 1953 in Elmira, NY. She was the daughter of Harold L. Cooper and Josephine M. Dyer-Cooper.
N. Jean Liddington is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 51 years, Harold F. Liddington, her daughters: Doreen Barker of Lisle, Sara (Tom) Lindsay Jr. of Brooktondale; her 7 grandchildren: Loyd (Meghan) Barker, Tommy (Kaitlyn) Lindsay III, Makaila Welch, Garen Barker, Hannah Barker, Kassandra Lindsay, and Aletha Lindsay. Also her 4 great-grandchildren: Ava Welch, Kamran Lindsay, Sofia Welch and Waylon Lindsay; her sisters Beverly Cooper, Marlene (Tim) Towner, Darlene Crossett; her sisters-in-laws: Mary Cooper, Nancy (Ray) Bullock; brother-in-law: Larry (Pat) Liddington, many nieces and nephews.
Jean was an employee at NCR, Hills department Store, and Big Lots throughout the years. She also did a lot of volunteer work over the years at Dryden School District.
Many knew her as mom or grandma. She loved watching NASCAR, Watching her grandkids and great-grandkids along with all their sports. She loved to do crafts. She also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Jean was predeceased by her parents, her sisters: Romalee, Janice and Janet; her brother: Jack; her sisters-in-law: Dortha; and brother-in-laws: Harry and James.
Family and friends are invited to calling hours at Perkins Funeral Home in Dryden on, November 8, 2025, from 11am-1pm, followed by a graveside service at Caroline Grove Cemetery. There will be a gathering at the Dryden VFW following the graveside service.
